Sunday Mornings

Zazen begins at 8:00 a.m., ending at 9:30 with repentance and refuge verses, sometimes followed by doanryo practice.

Monthly Sunday All-Day Sitting (June 15, July 27)

Arrival at 7:30 a.m. for zazen, first bell at 8:00, continuing until 4:00, with shared silent breakfast and lunch, a dharma talk, and morning and noon service.

Monday Evening Zazen and Discussion

7:30 zazen, followed by discussion at 8:15. There will be an interval bell, giving a formal opportunity to rest or adjust posture in the middle of the 40-minute zazen period. All are welcome to join for zazen or discussion or both.

Tuesday Evening Zazen and Dogen Study Group

Two half-hour sittings with kinhin, arrival at 5:50, zazen starting at 6:00 p.m., followed at 7:15 by group discussion of a selected Dogen text. All are welcome to join for zazen or discussion or both.

Thursday Evening Zazen

Two twenty-five-minute sittings with kinhin, zazen starting at 6 p.m. (arrive 5-10 minutes before starting time), ending with refuges at 7.

Friday Morning Zazen

Two sittings with kinhin, zazen starting with 7:00 a.m. arrival. First bells at 7:15. Enter at any time.
